Factify: Flashcards & Facts (“Factify”, “the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is designed with a privacy-first and offline-first approach. Your privacy matters to us, and this Privacy Policy explains in clear and understandable terms how your information is handled when you use Factify.

Factify is primarily an offline application.

  • Displaying advertisements (in the free version)

  • Delivering app updates

3. What Data Does Factify Store?

3.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device (Offline Data)

The following information may be stored only on your device and is never sent to our servers:

  • App settings (sound, language, theme, etc.)

  • Your favorite cards (if you use this feature)

  • Reading progress or last viewed card (if applicable)

This data:

  • Remains solely on your device

  • Is not automatically backed up to the cloud

  • Is permanently deleted when you uninstall the App

We do not have access to this data unless you voluntarily share it with us (e.g., via email for support).

3.2 Automatically Collected Technical Data (Anonymous)

If the App connects to the internet (for ads or updates), the following anonymous technical data may be processed:

  • Device type and Android version

  • App version

  • Crash and performance reports (if permitted)

  • General usage patterns (non-identifiable)

This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

4. Advertising and Third-Party Services

Factify may display advertisements in the free version. In this case, third-party providers such as Google AdMob may be used.

If ads are displayed:

  • Ad providers may use anonymized identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID) in accordance with their own privacy policies.

  • Factify does not control how these providers process data.

  • No personally identifiable information is shared by Factify.

You can limit or disable ad personalization through your device settings.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Some content in Factify may have been generated, assisted, or curated using artificial intelligence technologies.

Therefore:

  • The content is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.

  • It does not constitute medical, legal, financial, or professional advice.

  • AI-generated content may not always be fully accurate, complete, or up-to-date.

  • Users are responsible for their own interpretation and use of the information.

Factify is not liable for any direct or indirect consequences arising from the use of AI-generated content.

Where data processing occurs, it is based on:

  • Legitimate interest: Ensuring the proper functioning and improvement of the App (e.g., crash reports).

  • Local data remains on your device until you uninstall the App.

Factify takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect any processed data. Since the App is primarily offline, most user data never leaves your device.
